Basement Digs is excited to bring you Bells Make Me Sing - a reissue from Australian Jazz legend Brian Brown.
"Bells Make Me Sing is an album of happiness and new spirit - musical medicine for the creative energies of today - playing without looking over one's shoulder.
It is also th estory of six musicians on record together fo rthe first time - always an exciting situation.
Each of the tracks selected was a first 'take', giving the music energy and a very 'live' sound.
I would like to dedicate 'Blue' to my colleague Bob Sedergreen and 'Wild Flowers' to special people for contributing so much to this album." Brian Brown, 1979
The album was recorded and mixed at Alan Eaton Studios, Melbourne on May 21 and 22, 1979.
